Square trade warranty discount for a laptop
Looking for an unused Square Trade discount for a laptop priced between $300-$399. I would like to get the 3 year for $119, anyone know a way to make it cheaper?

NEVER buy extended warranties on electronics. The math does not work. They're not worth the paper they're printed on. Look at the numbers you posted: a $300-$400 laptop with a $119 "warranty". Those numbers do not work. In two or three years, the laptop won't be worth anything close to $300-$400 so why insure it for so much money? It doesn't make financial sense. Consumer Reports has said for years that extended warranties on electronics (as well as appliances and other products) are not worth it - they don't make good financial sense.
Instead, save the money you would have put into extended warranties and pay for any repairs or replacements out of your own pocket. You'll save plenty of money over the years. Also, see if any of your credit cards offer an extended warranty feature if you use their card to buy the item. Some will double the manufacturer's warranty for up to a year for free just for simply using their card to make your purchase. Use wisely your power of choice.
