You guys are missing the point entirely.....Apple gives you in the box everything you need to experience the device you bought.
You don't need the adapter to 30-pin, thats why it's not included. In fact, I lost mine that I bought with my phone somewhere and don't really miss it. simplicity is the ultimate sophistication

all4celluar is terrible will never buy from them again half of their cables I purchased broke within a month one arrived doa and I called and they sent me another one doa. Not even worth my time and efforts to do business with them again.

My 30-pin to Lightning adapter arrived and it works fine in my Logitech iPod dock. Audio pass through was my only concern. The unit is a genuine Apple product - you can see the words "Apple" "Made in China" "Model xxxx" etched in small print on one side.
