I haven't bought anything from Buy.com (Rakuten) since the Connect3D SD card rebate problem of many years ago (large 100% rebates not honored by rebate company, Buy did not step up, Newegg and other retailers did).

In for 2 to pop into galaxy s3 phones and maybe borrow for the DSLR sometimes. I was never a huge buy.com fan but a good deal is a good deal and there are no rebates to muck with here. I haven't had any major issue with them on straightforward sales. 5% discover cash back at the site btw. 2% for chase freedom.

why are all these sandisk cards on sale so often? especially the 64gb version. first it was amazon, then bh, then adorama, now rakuten, all of which charges sales tax to NY (me).
btw, shopdiscover has 5% cb. |

I always had good experiences with Buy.com and recently made 2 orders with Rakuten. Both orders arrived in 2 days - amazingly fast shipping!

Something doesn't add up. I bought a Sandisk SDD from these guys about a month ago without any problems.
Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned that for every dollar you spend you get a "Rakuten Point" which is basically worth $.01. I had 140 points from my previous purchase that took $1.40 off this purchase. |

Just as an aside...my 1st desktop (1996) had a 1.6GB hard drive in it. This little tiny card is 32GB's. Amazing!

Just a heads up--I put one of these in my t-mobile galaxy note 2--the phone kept unmounting and the remounting the card and eventually it got fried altogether (could not reformat it at all). Though it was out of warranty, fortunately Amazon did give a refund.
I don´t know if the problem is with the Note 2 or with this SD card, but the problem is a virtual epidemic. Google and you shall see. |
