I wonder if the "across the board" cuts applies to the salary of our Congressmen, President, and their staff?

Well it makes no sense to cut spending when the goal is to outprint our competitors and get inflation going. Republicons will grandstand until the last minute and then capitulate as usual. All this debt will be rapid with devalued dollars down the track. Only fools are saving rather than spending.

If so, I'm glad I bought my house and have my emergency supplies stocked up. A lot of people are going to die if you are right. I think we can save this country and the dollar, but I'm not sure that will be true after another four years. With our debt as high as it is, you may be right though. If we are already so far into the hole that we can't climb out, we might as well dig some more. I can get behind taking advantage of the rest of the world if we already decided that we are going to default anyway. |
