The Case for Across-the-Board Spending Cuts

That has been the plan since Bush took over. Without a healthy dose of inflation the entire world economy is doomed. The printing presses are on overdrive. Spend, spend, spend. The Chinese have no problem taking out devalued paper as long as the status quo is kept. Good times (unless you are a hopeless saver).

You gotta love B. Hussein Obama. Every time any kind of budget cuts he gets on his soap box and PREACHES how if they happen it will be the end of the U.S. as we know it. Sorry, the $16,000,000,000,000 deficit HE is responsible for has already changed the US from something we used to be proud of to something Europe is now proud of.

Now he is doing the same scare tactics he has in the past stating the sky is falling unless the cuts mandated by sequester is overruled and paid for by tax increases. The fact HIS administration were the ones who came up with the sequester idea in order to get the BCA Act of 2011 passed has been completely overlooked. Listening to him read off the teleprompter you would think he was against it from the start. II wonder how many of the sheep out there know that not only did his administration suggest it our beloved Prez fully supported it and SIGNED it into law.

Simply put the BCA contained a provision stating if a Committee(AKA Super Committee) made up of 6 representatives from the House (3 Dems and 3 Repubs) and 6 from the Senate (3 Dems and 3 Repubs) couldn’t agree on an additional $1.5 trillion in deficit reduction then automatic cuts of $1.2 trillion will be triggered through sequestration.

So again, our Politicians have let us down and NO ONE is mentioning them either. Hell, one of the “Politicians” who was a member of this committee not only hasn’t been held up as one of the reasons for these Sequester cuts but has even been promoted to Sec of State. ONLY in our Government does someone get promoted for NOT doing their job.

BUT .. no biggie, the sheep will hear what the great one says and NEVER question it, even when proven a lie like when he now blames congress for the sequester idea or when states it needs to be made up of budget cuts and NEW taxes even though originally he agreed to no new taxes in the final sequester deal. After all it’s all Bush’s fault (certainly not his) and the Rich for now paying their “fair” share ….. even though what their “fair” share is keeps changing.

I have no idea if either of the sources in the below URLs are considered “partisan” but it doesn’t matter sense facts are facts and everything, including his Admin suggesting it and him endorsing it can be proven …

And yes, as much as it will hurt in some areas I agree with the Sequester and it should be allowed to happen as written and passed into law.

Until the American people start holding our Politicians accountable (accountable does not mean promoting to Sec of State for failure to do one’s job) the political leaches, I mean politicians, will continue to do whatever they want in order to buy themselves votes.

I still remember the Amnesty back in the 80’s where everyone agreed we would give a one time amnesty deal to the illegals and the Administration and Congress promised to secure are boarders if the amnesty bill passed. NOT only have they NOT secured our borders but they are looking for ways to give another amnesty deal but call it another name.

The American people have short memories. I guess that comes from becoming a ME ME ME society where the sheep believe entitlements are a Right granted them in the Constitution.

Obama clearly condemned Bush for his secrecy, lack of transparency. Yet, once in office, he maintained all of Bush's policies, even extending them even further than Bush, like the drone program and kill lists.

Oh, Obama is right, now. But he very clearly changed his colors once in office. And his supporters who condemned Bush is the worst ways and condemned Bush's generals, like Patreaus, as traitors, have hardly whined at all. In fact, they accept these things because Obama is a Democrat.

It's quite shameful behavior that we wouldn't see had a Republican been elected President and behaved similarly as Obama has.
