Worked out great for me. I added one to subscribe and save, and it said if I add one more item for my Feb delivery for a total of 5, it would take an additional 15% off my whole order. I had several other SD items waiting to ship, so I added another flavor of this k-cup and it did take another 15% off everything. K-cups were 24.65 each box.

The keurig brewer is a convenience item. If you get to the point where you're willing to make it inconvenient to save 5c-10c a cup, I'd recommend going back to a regular brewer or using a refillable cup. Its not that much more trouble if you're getting into storing k-cups in a bag in the fridge and its even cheaper than these! I bought a couple of boxes of these last year. Tossed half from one box because they went stale and then just tossed the other box because they were too much trouble. As far as the variance in reviews...I've come to the conclusion that many people have low expectations or cant tell the difference between good coffee and bad.

but they work fine in Keurigs - call them K-Pouches then. I use these all the time. Wife loves the Breakfast Blend and I love the fog chaser.Only problem is they do not fit quite right in the tower k-cup Carousel |

I will give this a try and see if it is better than the Green Mountain organic Dark Magic that I drink all the time (more expensive). I also purchased the Starbucks dark roast one from Costco, not that good at all but cheap. I went for the French Roast cuz one of the fellow slick deal says it is dark roast per San Francisco Bay Coffee's own webiste.

The Keurig.com deal is still alive, I used it last night. That is Buy 2 get 2 free with free shipping you need to register your brewer. I would go this route before I would try the generic pouch option.

Thanks OP! I have had Keurig machines for years, before they became really popular. These are "soft bottom" cups, which means that they have a regular filter pouch instead of the all plastic like the name brand k-cups. Honestly, I think there's a difference in the flavor, this coffee tastes cleaner and a bit fresher than regular k-cups.
I've only had the Safeway brand, but all of the soft bottom cups are made by the same company. Thumbs up. |
