I just want to thanks !! I waited out yesterday's storm. Went today, looked up high. They were in boxes. I got all 3 kinds. The inventory had said 3 left for the 18 gallon and I had trouble finding those. When I told him he said they just did inventory which so it would be accurate and it is why they aren't on display. He helped me find those and there were 5!! I live them!they were very helpful but also jealous. I left a whole box but think they are getting it for themselves

Grabbed 25 of the $1 totes. Some for me and some for the family as they used me as a go between. They had 92 in stock at my store, and were out at all surrounding stores within 50 miles. But none of the 3 better.

There is another store close by with a dozen or more of the 3 better totes, but none of the $1 so I'll go there this afternoon and check on those. Could use a few BIG totes.

Picked up 11 of the 18 Gallon @ $2 each in Canton MI. Inventory checker says there are 11 more, but he couldn't find them.

Ha sweet, I grabbed 25 at the same store. Coupled with what was sold when I was there, I'd say 60 of the 92 at Reading were sold.


I was able to bounce up to Nashua and nab some of the 3 roughnecks available. I live closer to Nashua but work near Reading. (So this was all low gas mileage, woot!)

5x18Gal Roughneck@ $2 each (18 left at Nashua)
3x37Gal Roughneck@ $4 each (0 left. Inventory said 17 only could find 6)
6x54Gal Roughneck@ $5 each (12 left. Looked like 2 full boxes of 6 left)

$57 for all that, combine that with the $25 worth of the $1 totes.

I rocked about $375 worth of storage for $75.

I wouldn't count on any of the Nashua Roughnecks being left though. One guy was there to buy all the 37 Gallon totes because he was told there were 17 in inventory, he only got 3. The gentleman said he'd be back early tomorrow to grab the rest of the 54 Gallon units.

Although, with the way the one worker reacted, they may not survive until tomorrow for him.

yeah no kidding. its rough at home depot.. its either the listed price or gtfo.. i mostly gtfo but will take my chances tomorrow. The sad news is I paid retail for these @ $8 a pop x 15 a few months back but its not even whats on sale if on sale so i guess im alright.

I was able to pick of 24 of the 18 gal Rubbermaid ones, still in the original box, from way up high. When the guy lowered the pallet there was also a box of 6 of the 37 gal totes as well, so I had to buy those too. ;-)
I did see two other shelf tags but the shelves were empty (although when I check now the store still has 5-6 of each in inventory....)

I scored 10 of the rubbermaid 18gal yesterday. There were 37gal for $4 as well as a different set of $1 totes than the OP posted. I was in a hurry to beat the storm so I didn't stick around for the girl to get them down so I could get a SKU. I can tell you they were clear with a colored lid that looked like it folded.

Yah funny thing is whenever I go in a HD I'm harassed at least twice by their roving solicitors wanting to tell me about their "great offer on cabinets". It's about to the point where I'm going to speak to the manager and threaten to shop exclusively at Lowes.

Set up a farking kiosk already and if I am interested I will let you know..

My store had 17 left of SKU# 140737, bought 8. Some other stores in my distance also show decent inventory.

not nearly as good as the above deals but bought sterlite 25 qt containes, with latching lids for $2.23 ea, reg price said $8.99 I didn't copy the sku but have a upc if anyone is interested. I bought a few since I needed some this size but was almost hard to swallow after the rubbermaid prices!

my area got hit hard. i got a couple but just about every store in the greater NEO area was wiped out. The bigger totes everyone was getting was not on sale here.
