I have this model from last weeks, really nice color after calibration

1. Can I trust the seller?

2. Will it still have a warranty?

3. Can I schedule the delivery so that I'm home when it arrives?

Got this tv from Fry's on a previous deal. Quite an amazing value for the price.

I have the 50 inch version of this TV. It is a VERY good TV, with great picture, limited IR (image Retension) fast response rates (Watching Sports on it is amazing. I had to watch the super bowl at a friends house who had an LED and it looked awful in comparison, gaming isn't an issue at all, I play CoD and Halo amazingly on it). The Blacks are black and the colors are great.


The BAD thing about it:

-2 HDMI slots. Kinda annoying, but one is easily accessible, so it's okay.
-When displaying BRIGHT images (like something with a white background) the TV buzzes. It is annoying, and distracting at first, but you get used to it.
- The SD card slot and USB hook up on the side are convenient, but it won't play MKV files.
- Since it's a plasma, it gets hot.
- The glossy finish on it means that it is ONLY good for night time watching with lights off, or if lights have to be on, they must all be BEHIND the tv, or else the glare is WAY too noticeable.


Overall, I paid $500 for the 50 inch version of the TV with a 2 year warranty included and after 3 months of use, it gets a solid 4.5 stars out of 5.

Yea, be sure to mess with the settings as the picture isn't all that great out of the box.

I bit the bullet and ordered it.

How do deliveries from these guys typically work? Can I pay extra for faster shipping? Ideally I'd want it by no later than next Friday.

That's a pretty compelling argument in favor of the P60U50 over the P55UT50.

I have the 55UT50 which I bought from Costco. Sure I would like another 5" for a dumb 60" tv, but I like the fact that if there is any issues I can just take it right back to costco. If you buy from buydig you got to pay to ship back and wait for your tv to come back. Also Costco backs their tvs for 2 years.

Its so basic that with in one year you would feel like you have 20 years old TV, just IMO
