In other words, maybe there's something wrong with your device that is causing the buzzing sound. Weak Minds Think iLike.

I'm excited for mine. I've always wanted a plasma and not an LCD or LED-LCD. However, I'm wondering if the stress related to it's delivery and reliability of the selling company is worth the money savings since as noted I can get a 55" for the same price at Costco.
Though if I spend the savings on an extended warranty I have peace of mind. I have a guy coming to wall mount it up a week from Saturday so would suck if it came on day 8-9 or 10 of the 5-10 business days. |

Here is AMEX's policy regarding extended warranty and filing a claim: AMEX Extended Warranty Policy 5. How do I file a claim? You should report the Occurrence immediately following the loss. You can easily file a claim by calling 1-800-225-3750. You must provide proof of purchase and satisfactory proof of the covered Occurrence while coverage is in effect to qualify for benefits under the Extended Warranty. Remember to keep all your American Express charge receipts, original store receipts, original manufacturers’ warranties, and products requiring repair until the claim process is complete. You may also be asked to obtain a repair estimate. The program administrator will decide whether to have the item repaired or replaced, or to reimburse you up to the amount charged to the Card, and not to exceed the original purchase price. The Extended Warranty does not reimburse for shipping and handling expenses or installation, assembly, or other service charges. The only difference between the 60" TC-P60U50 and the Frontpage 55" TC-P55UT50 is that the 60" TC-P60U50 is not a Smart TV or have 3D. That's it. |

Delivery of a plasma is no problem or hassle, sure they're big and heavy ... but the shippers know how to handle them ... The extended warranty is a great idea ... I had my plasma die within 6 months, and then 13months just after the warranty expired.... they used to use bad capacitors in their power boards which would fail quite often giving you the click of death ... im so traumatized from my experience, I will not touch a plasma again |

![]() Just kidding man. Stuck with a 50" and can't talk myself into the upgrade. Amazing price on this TV. Very tempting. Last edited by ecr72; 02-20-2013 at 04:18 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

What the hell should I do?? I know 3D is kind of gimmicky, ( I was on the fence anyway because of the bad reviews active 3D gets...) its the same panel, 5 inches more....costco has the kick ass warranty and B&M returns for any problems.... Also- I already checked out with the 55", is it too late to add the warranty from your link? |
