Got this mouse back on BF for the same price and it's pretty nice, replaced my old M500. It has a different feel to it, but still feels nice haha and the extra weights are cool to have, but after testing it, i disliked the weight distribution and it in general.
People complained about the dpi adjuster near the left click, but i actually like it there, not too close or far. |

Been waiting for a great gaming mouse to go down in price for months now. I am tired of playing CS:GO with my Dell wired mouse (hate when I can't properly awp and miss people because of the mouse). Looking forward to doing some damage with this.

I have been using MX518 for like the past 7 years. Anyone know how Razer matches up against Logitech?

If you're tired of it then try G500 here or a G9X. For reference, I've used MX518 for 3 years and now using G400 for 2 years on QcK mousepad. Last edited by aznprime817; 02-21-2013 at 11:55 AM.. |

Used 1 for years. Bought girlfriend one for future PC build. Mine finally became unusable (something happening where I could no longer scroll across my screen without having the cursor stagger/jump - something up with the optics I thought).
In for 1 for stealing gf's! Thx Also, using steelseries QcK+ pad. And it's smooth as butter. |

I had this mouse for not even a year and it developed problems with the clicking. It would constantly double click instead of single click or just not be responsive at all. Couldn't get it replaced so tried to go in and fix it myself, the tiny copper connector thing in the click box was soooo hard to re-attach properly after I took it out and tried to re-bend it slightly that I had to end up giving up and throwing the mouse away.  sad...not buying a high price mouse again.

Never had the clicking issue but is it a huge issue? Like I said before, Logitechs RMA service is great and they will quickly replace your mouse. Sounds like a good deal to me as they have ALWAYS sent me a new mouse, never used/refurb. 3 year warranty as well is pretty good.

This might be a dumb question but you can program this for any keys right?
Can this be used for programs other than games...if I want to program a button for the key "#" and "/" would that be possible with this? Thanks for the help and will rep. |

I also experienced the "double-click" issue on my left click after 3 years of use, I couldn't go through the RMA process as I was missing that little info stub on the USB for some reason. |

i've just now started to get the double-click problem with the right mouse button. logitech is shipping me a new one. this mouse is definitely awesome and worth it but you may come across problems like this in the future. the warranty is superb though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I actually like this more than the G9 since on the G9 it's so easy to accidentally click those resolution selection buttons
