They sound pretty good, very good actually for the price.
Comfort on the other hand is where they lack. Not recommended for long term use. 30-40 minutes is about average wear time for me with these. Unlike my Etymotics which I often forget I even have on. |

Worst headphones I've ever owned. They just fall apart. I think the 2 pieces of plastic are glued together and I don't know if it's weak glue or just poor quality control but they just fell apart as soon as I took them out of the plastic. I have another pair that I have no desire to even open.

I own a pair of these and all i can say is that The CORD TANGLING is horrible!! Will take you at least 30 sec - 2 minutes to untie.. The sound quality and bass is very good, I don't know if I would buy another pair though, very cheap price for sound quality .. They fiit comfortably around my ears

I've been using these headphones as my main headphones for 9+ months. At retail prices these are great. Less than $5 is a steal. Sound is exceptionally clear. I'm not an earbud expert, but these blow away iPod earbuds and are on point with $30 Skullcandy's IMO. The bass on these headphones is lacking, but that's not an issue for me. If you're looking for bass, the link someone posted to head-fi can help, otherwise, look somewhere else. As for comfort, when I first bought these things, I couldn't keep them in for longer than 20 minutes without needing to take them out. I've gotten used to them over time, and I sometimes have them in for an hour or more no problem. I haven't gotten any different tips, but they could be a make-or-break issue for someone. As for tangling, yea, it can be a problem. For me personally, my cord has gotten tangled so many times that there are little kinks in it. I'm not complaining, though, because as I said I've had them for over 9 months and they still work fine. Lastly, I see some comments about rubbing the cord when a song is playing being an issue. That's never been a problem for me. I just did a quick little test, and if the music is kept low, then yea, rubbing the cord will be noticeable. However, when playing the music at any decent volume (not talking about blowing out your ears or anything), it's not a problem, at least for me.
Overall, for less than $5, these things are awesome, if you can get them to fit comfortably. Last edited by Gwizzler; 02-20-2013 at 05:13 PM.. |

Great for price no doubt! They do have good bass "if" you can get them to fit right and you break them in. These are pretty big drivers. Anyone who complains about the sound quality probably does not have them fitted correctly. Problem is getting them to fit just right though. I have not tried any of the tips mentioned here but I'd bet it would make a difference.
The cord does tangle very easy and can be a pain. However I think the overall build quality is rather solid. These are certainly much better than $20 name brand buds. My teenagers have not complained about them either. That's a plus right there.
