Mouse on Glasstop
Hello. Moved offices and inherited a glass top desk. My Logitech M325 does not work on glass. Any recommendations for a mouse that works on glass? No preference at this time for wired or wireless. Thanks!

Is the desktop transparent or is it glass on top of something? If the later an MS mouse with Bluetrack might work, either way any Logitech mouse with Darkfield should work.

Logitech's Darkfield mice were specifically made to work on glass; that's their whole selling point.
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/promotions/6135 Microsoft's Bluetrack mice were made to work on a lot of different surfaces such as couches, all types of wood, the carpet, etc, but they actually don't work that well on glass. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware...technology I've tried both mice, and decided that the Microsoft technology was more suited towards my use. For you, hands down choose the Logitech, or get a thumb trackball as shown above. Or, as prozac said, just buy a mouse pad, haha. |
