No 3rd party store has the ability to directly waive the activation fee. They can contact their rep for the company (works directly for the carrier) and THEY can waive it. But they have to approve it. The stores just can't tell him/her to do it.

i was able to get best buy to match it but not with the $50gc but still good deal to me. helps a little with ETF from tmobile. i'm done with them. hello verizon

I have played around with both the note2 and SIII. Note 2 is much better IMHO unless you don't like having a bigger screen.

now we went back and had them price match DELL.com 5 days later 2/21/13
they didnt want to but of course they did it

plus we had signed up a week or so ago to where we also got $50 for each new phone we got.

T-mobile did this for 2 days on Nov 16th & 17th, 2012 - Any Samsung phones were free (including the Note II). That is when, i requested AT&T to price match and got my S3 for free (have to try with at least 4-5 rep's though, to get the S3 free from AT&T).

First: OP you should change title! The Galaxy S3 is on sale for 9.99 for Sprint as well as Verizon!

Second: Called my local Best Buy in Sacramento to see if they would pricematch, the guy was shocked at the price and looked it up on dell and then asked me to wait while he talked to a manager..came back and said OK with no problems! Even asked me how I found such a great deal and I asked him if he had ever heard of slickdeals and he said yes he should have known it was from here very sweet guy! btw I'm adding a line and he said they were only going to do it for new contracts or add a lines if anyone wants to try with them..BB in Citrus Heights
