I've stopped leaving feedback for sellers who haven't left feedback for me first unless I notice they have an auto feedback system. I don't need their +1 that badly (and they clearly don't care enough about mine).

I typically wait about a week after the buyer receives the item to leave feedback. While I can't leave negative feedback I'd hate to leave positive feedback and then have the buyer try to fark me over by claiming the item wasn't as described or they never actually received it. |

![]() I typically won't leave feedback at all if the seller doesn't give feedback soon after the transaction is over. I may change that and start leaving sarcastic comments as feedback after a few weeks if the seller doesn't give feedback. |

Sellers half of the transaction is done when the item is paid for, so they have no valid reason to wait to leave feedback. Obviously the buyer can't leave feedback until after the item is received. This game that some asshole sellers play is bullshit. I have stopped leaving feedback for sellers first.

I leave positive feedback after the buyer pays (sometimes there's a one or two day delay).
Honestly, I don't think anyone really cares about feedback anymore. There's a website to search for negative feedback..http://www.toolhaus.org/ .. If I am making a big purchase, I will search the seller to read his neg feeback.. most big sellers have some negative feedback, I just look for a pattern such as 5 people saying "sent broke item, refused refund". Most negative feedback seems to be from buyers being aholes. As a seller, I usually only sell stuff I don't care about anymore, like DVDs I am done with. If a buyer tries to extort/scam or whatever, I really don't care, I am not out much money. It seems like most buyers do not leave feedback anymore. That kind of sucks honestly. Since buyer feedback is worthless, it's good courtesy to leave feedback to a seller if your item arrived ok. What a life.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwHpLDgWonM

I used to leave feedback right away after receiving payment but I noticed most buyers won't leave feedback, even if I went out of my way to accommodate a request by them. I now leave feedback only after receiving and since I have done so, I receive feedback at a much higher rate.
