What a shame.
Why did Philips have to cripple such a nicely featured 26" w/only 720p resolution? I would have been all over this if not for that, as I use my current Sharp 26" HDTV as a 1920x1080 computer display. This set would have replaced my Sharp in a heartbeat had it sported the same rez. ![]() P.S. - The specs are not clear on the max rez for this unit on Philips' website. While 1360x768 is listed as the max rez for a computer, 1080p is listed as max rez for video.

I already have a 50" plasma in the livingroom. What I need is a 1080p HDTV from 24-27 inches that can also double as a HDTV (even at 720p, but preferably at 1080p) for my desk.P.S. - The most impressive sounding feature this set has going for it is Smart Cloud technology. Sounds awesome, if it works well. |

I see... And btw, I'm looking at ebay, and it looks like at least 1 more person managed to replicate this deal I guess I'll go try my luck.
