Airplay is great, and many apps support it - but some don't.
And since it runs through your wifi, (1) it can be flaky if you don't have a solid setup and (2) you can't take it with you easily. So it may be that a straight bluetooth speaker setup is a better approach for some. |

It has a Wi-Fi direct connect feature, which basically turns itself into a wifi hotspot that you can directly connect to via Airplay. So you can still airplay to it when you are away from your home network.

I was tempted to buy it. Personally don't have any problems with Airplay using my Apple devices and Apple TV but this speaker doesn't have N wireless, only B/G. Fail.
