They sell speakers, but it's not their focus. They make electronics, and dabble in speakers. Klipsch is really only a speaker company. Doesn't mean the HK stuff is terrible, but generally speaking, I would trust the speaker company to make a better sounding product.
Harmon Industries owns Infinity and JBL. I think they know how to make speakers.
All of my home wireless devices are N. I have a dual band router but I set both to N only. Gives better wireless performance. Even if that were not the case, given the original selling price of this speaker being over $500 and not include N is just mind boggling.

You can always grab a AirPort Express for $88-$99, or one of the older ones for less, then plug whatever speaker(s) you want to in to it.
Since it looks like this deal is dead, another popular alternative is bluetooth wireless. Logitech makes a good one. Just plug the speakers into it and you have wireless sounds from your bluetooth device. Can be connected to your big home stereo system as well. It might work with your iMac as well since the iMac has bluetooth but I have not tried it.
