sprung for two after both PSU for my 24" MVA-panel Soyo's died. just arrived and having to get used to the viewing angle ("magic angle"). there's certainly more variance in color when looking above or below. hopefully that's not an issue in everyday use. price was fair for the resolution/size.
Though I was satisfied with it, I'll probably return mine (though I'd be willing to sell them at my cost to a fellow SD'er in SoCal/Los Angeles - PM me if interested, decent deal IMO since price went up), because I was able to get my P-MVA panel working.
Anyway, I had a hard time getting good settings out of it, until I was able to put it with my PMVA panel and adjust settings side-by-side. The "Magic Angle" setting just didn't yield a good result.
Didn't use any fancy calibration software/devices, but here are the settings I'm using now and am pretty happy with (my eye level ~3/4 up from bottom of monitor):
I've had experience with the previous 24" model the S24a350h LED.
Out of 5 monitors 3 of them had to be shipped out for warranty repair within the first year!
That's enough for me to stay away from Samsung PC monitors for awhile.
