Mass Effect requires you to use origin. I would recommend not purchasing.

AFAIK there's no other way to get the ME series on pc. Besides, origin isn't that bad. Even steam had issues when it started out.

ME 1 + 2 are available on Steam, 3 might be added at some point. But $18 for the whole shebang is freaking worth it. Personally, I'm holding out until the GOTY for ME3. I've played all of them, but I'm sure something will come out with every game and all of the DLC sometime this summer. Anyone heard any news on my prediction?
