not to threadcrapping but can anyone show us the advantage of this verse adobe acrobat profession 8 a few month ago in FP ( I think is still free to download and use)...

Adobe also seems to be more of a resource hog in my experience. Given my experience so far with 'expert pdf', I'll probably be sticking to Acrobat Pro 8.3.1 |

I clicked on create PDF, dragged the png file into the window, converted it to PDF, then ran OCR. It couldn't find text for the "frys.com" logo on the top of the page, or any of the tabs below it, but it did OCR everything pertaining to my order itself, including the order number, text of the product, etc. So I don't really know how OCR works on that type of file. Did this on 6yr old dell laptop 2gb ram, xp, with other apps open. |

dead? link no longer working
rebate scams:
1. coolmax: no valid US address or phone #, more 2. connect3d/buy.com: bankrupted and voided all rebates, more 3. PNY: "lost" my rebate submission 4 times. 4. Samsung, Sharp: pending rebate for 7+ months don't ever trust their self-advertising posts here - shame on them!  Don't ever shop at BUY.COM if you don't want to be scammed and screwed! |

Can anyone tell me how to use this to add fillable forms to a pdf I've created? I'd like to allow people to fill forms out online or after I've sent it to them. I've looked through the help section and various menus and can't seem to find anything. Am I missing it or is it just not available?

This still works but you have to do it carefully.
Download the FREE Evaluation Copy Install it Apparently they used 1 activation code for all. Copy the key..that was provided in a previous post (you gotta work for it you know) Open the program and go to HELP There are two options on the menu bar, on the left side: Online Registration and Activate Select activate, the program will open up the website, do not USE IT, close the page, behind the page is a dialog box, paste the code in there and hit return, it will activate your program. I later went to the On-line Registration link in the program and hit on it, but since it was already activated it said I was already registered on-line, which I am not. |
