This is an incredibly cheap tent. So keep your expectations as such. The material and zippers won't be very good. But if you treat it with several coats of a waterproofing sealer, it should stay dry for the most part. Otherwise, if it rains, expect that it will definitely get wet inside.
If you really want to cheap out you may as well go buy a tarp (or multiple tarps) and learn how to pitch it correctly. Otherwise, wait until last years tents go on closeout. They'll cost a decent amount more than this tent, but should be more functional and certainly more durable.
