Can you upgrade the RAM and SSD on this? Is it an mSATA SSD? Also, is the screen matte or glossy?

Good price but Amazon has it for $100 more. I know that's quite a difference, but Newegg's return policy is crap on pc's. 25% restocking fee if opened? Yikes.

I'd be all over this laptop, but there are 2 problems. The RAM is soldered on to the motherboard, and the battery is not user accessible without considerable effort to remove the bottom casing.

Why do you need more than 4gb of ram? Most likely this ultrabook will be used for internet and word processing. It could will not service as a gaming laptop because of slower CPU and GPU.
I can understand the battery down the road might need a replacement and 128gb might not be enough for everyone. Watch all TV shows.I mean ALL ch131.com . , http://tvduck.com

As a developer looking for a more mobile platform, this would have been a GREAT ultrabook but the soldered memory is a no-go. Gotta have the room to let my J2EE application servers breathe. Find me and my thoughts over at two.bit.coder. [twobitcoder.com]
