I dont think it will go to much lower before inventory is depleated across the board. I have been looking for one of these for a few months now and the lowest recently I saw was $899 w/Free Shipping back in January. I was looking around the web for the same model the other day and the lowest I was finding was $1,299.

Even though it is a DLP where else can you find a 73" TV for under a grand. This would fit perfect at the foot of my bed. Keeping my eyes open for one that Ships.

HHgregg needs to step up and become Fry's of the east coast!

Got one of these when the Mitsu store had them at this price with 15% Discover CB.

I could not be happier with the set, and the amount of free beer I've accumulated from people leaving it during football season will keep me buzzed until kickoff next year.

I bought this TV a couple years ago from Dell. I love it. It's hugeness makes up for the picture quality, which isn't as sharp or crisp as the plasmas and others but still great. No issues with it at all.

If you are in southeastern mass there is place with great prices in Warwick ri and north Smithfield. I got my 55st50 there and have had no issues and they provide a one year warranty for everything they sell. I saw last week them advertising an 82" dlp for $599. Don't know if they still have it but would be worth a call if you really want a dlp, everything they sell is open box but in good shape, but that also means there is limited Supplies of each model and their inventory changes week to week so its ymmv for specific TVs. Edit; and seems like they have it for awhile as it was first posted for 900 then last week it was dropped to 600. Its not like a lot of people are looking for dlp so they might still have it.

if only they made 3xDLP TVs. They would be really nice. Thats what movie theaters use. Cant stand the rainbow effect due to the color wheels.

it is lighter than most LCDs but it is boxy.

DLP is ancient technology that produces a shitty picture like a wiggle picture from a Cracker Jack box.
You can hook up your quadrophonic sound system to it and watch Saturday Night Fever over and over. Ever wonder why Mitsubishi is the only ones making these enormous pieces of shit?

What will all these DLP haters do when no one makes them any longer?
