hard to say, Sears is funky with their website, can go live a day before or not show the price til late AM on Friday or when you add it to the cart. All these prices are published in the 2 Fri/Sat ad that is inserted in many major newspapers today for reference

The sides are thin. I had 3 of them that I used to use for various things. All 3 ended up with holes at the bottom/side seams. No warranty. Linemans look super cheap. Meter looks like a decent buy if you need a basic meter for around the house.

I can tell you from personal experience that 13" bag is great. Totally worth $4. I have several. I have one in each car that holds make-shift emergency kits. I also have one that will hold a lot of common tools as my go-to bag when I need to do routine maintenence around the house.

These are not heavy duty bags, nor are they advertised as such. They are good bags for the price.

I had a few really chip bits that snapped while trying to drill through metal. Probably a dumb question, but quality drill bits like the $15 100 PC set won't snap if you put them under pressure right? Or does snapping come with the territory?

For $4 it's an excellent bag. I bought the multimeter for $11.49 awhile back and don't regret it, although I'd rather have gotten in on the Extech combo deal awhile back for $11.50.

i have a 13" tool bag from that 13" + 18" combo deal.

it's very rugged. despite having sharp edge hand tools inside of it - no tears, gashes or threads coming loose. the wide opening makes it GREAT for storing my sander as well. if it wasn't for the wide opening, it wouldn't fit.

perhaps that other poster had a defective one - but this can't be beat for the money. i'm actually thinking of picking up several more for additional non-tool storage needs.
