Girl won't date me unless I raise my credit score

It took me by surprise. I asked out this girl that I have liked for a very long time and she said she would think about it and get back to me. In my experience, this is usually a good sign but not this time. She came back and asked me what my credit score is. I kind of laughed and said "well sugar why do you want to know about that?". She replied that she can't date guys who aren't fiscally responsible so please provide her with the score. I told her 565. Apparently that wasn't high enough because she said she had other plans. Is this common? I tried to tell her I got into a jam in college but she didn't wasn't interested.

1) QPLR...but pretty sure you are just bullsh*tting anyway.

2) 565 is pretty low...

3) your credit score is NOT a measure of how well you spend your money. It is a measure of how well you borrow money. The number means nothing without background info. If you are a 500 because you refuse to have a credit card...fine. If you are a 500 because you defaulted on a car loan...that is something else.

In the future, lie about your credit score to a woman. After she gets addicted to sex with you, then you can confess the truth, and she'll forgive you.

I'm lucky my fiance has a high credit score! Unfortunately, I don't know what mine is, and haven't got around to finding a good website to check it. Should be pretty decent though

Try creditkarma, it's free. It might not give you the most accurate score but may give a ball park figure. Actually I don't know how accurate it is but it's kind of fun to keep track nonetheless.
