Girl won't date me unless I raise my credit score

It may have to do more with the fact that you think Green Lantern is 8.5 on a scale of 10.

I think it's actually a legit reason.

I think that financial conflicts are the number one reason marriages fail (not cheating/infidelity).

Also, it's not uncommon for people to fall in love and then surprise!!!, your lover has $15 grand in credit card debt. That's just flat out fiscal irresponsibility.

Pretty sure it is a measurement of how well you borrow. Never Borrowing anything == low credit score =/= unbelievable..

As I said...no information can be pulled from a low credit score alone. I would agree though that a high credit score shows someone that did borrow a lot and always came through on their promise of repayment.

I know this thread is a bunch of BS but on a serious note, I wouldn't have stuck around with someone that was bad with money.

When I was single and using an online dating site I looked for the following to gauge my initial interest:
No kids, but wants in the future
Decent job/profession
Attractive
Compatible interests

Upon meeting the people I looked for:
Personality
Intelligence
Fiscal responsiblity

I'm not even bringing up the way my house is heated with this girl. I just want to focus on what I have to do to start dating her, which is to repair my tarnished credit.
