Advantage Discounts also work with the no-subsidy post-paid "Value" plans. After discount, that's likely a fair amount cheaper than pre-paid, though you are on contract.

("Value" plans have all the worst features of both Classic and prepaid plans -- namely full-price phones, a contract, and potential to be charged for overages -- but you save money on the monthly charges)

Hi Just signed up for the T-mobile value plan from classic 1000 mins. Here are the details:

Total 5 lines:
1 Line: Unlimited Talk+Text+Data (2 GB 4G- No overage)
2 Line: Unlimited Talk+Text+Data (2 GB 4G- No overage)
3 Line: Unlimited Talk+Text+Data (2 GB 4G- No overage)
4 Line: 500 Min with free Wi-fi calling+Text+Data (2 GB 4G- No overage)
5 Line: 500 Min with free Wi-fi calling+Text

A $10/month discount was applied to my account as loyal customer.
Total monthly bill approx. $142 - (15% corp discount)= $120 + Tax

My bill use to be around $135 with only 1000 mins+Text to share within 5 lines & 200 MB data for 3 lines each.

Don't Value plans also give you roaming since you're a post-paid customer as opposed to pre-paid where you can only use T-Mo's own towers?

Value plans also let many of us get a brand new S III from Costco for ~ $300. Not bad for no subsidy, and definitely not an option with Pre-Paid.

For example, I believe Sprint post-paid customers roam on VZW towers when out of Sprint coverage areas (I know nothing about data roaming). I just told them that I want my bill to be cheap or I will have to consider other option. BTW I was super nice with them and kept asking "can you please do anything else for me"

How long have you been with t-mobile? I just switched to value plan and the rep gave it to me without even asking. Have been with t-mobile since 2004.
