$107 was only available in store last week, and I already mentioned I got them for $99 previously which was on 1/25-the day that Frys ad hit.
UPDATE: Back down to $107 this morning 2/22.

I almost jumped on the $107 price last time around as well but don't have a Frys near me and shipping would add another $26 on top of that.

I jumped on this deal earlier today - I've read quite a few reviews on the sony speakers - some even mentioning that these were better calibrated with better highs and mids than the 7000's.

Yes I was about to buy today even paying shipping when it went to Free Ship. So happy with the ones I have.
I tried to get Amazon to price match but they ignored me. Maybe they won't pm to Frys?

I thought I did, will do now. I try to never forget to rep. I'd wait for them to hit $99 again with free ship but I'm doing a massive overhaul of my living room and I don't want to break pace. I bought one of those 60" lg plasmas from the deal last week and underestimated the true size. Side note, best tv I've ever seen. I paired it with the Yamaha 373 deal, now with these speakers as my fronts ill be done. I have the matching center speaker for them. Second side note, make sure you get a matching center for these if your going to run a 5.1 or more. You want to have a clean even flow from side to side.

As a third side note. I have a set of these already in my game room and I can't explain how such a cheap speaker sounds so clean.

Very happy with the slick deal on my Polk CSi3 Center @$99 also from Frys, nestled between these Sonys.

Wish-listing the POLK 65Ts or 75Ts for the moment until a significant price drop, to go with it and stay lower budget range.
Meanwhile, I am more than content with these Sonys for fronts. Sound is tight and they definitely play well with the Polk Center.

Unfortunatley Slickdeals don't come along often for a matched 5 spkr system (Fronts + Center + Rears) in the quality and price range I am seeking. So I will go Frankenstein for now.

I refuse to pay full price for any of my system. Some Polk 10 inch Subs are cheap right now, but get poor reviews, so I won't replace my current Sub with the Polk. Matter of fact I just picked up a replacement Sub driver from Best Buy $29 deal shipped the other day. I am on my second Driver now. It is going on about 5 uears old, so now I am prepared for the inevitable dry-rot .

Wish they would put the center for these for sale... and a decent front-firing sub to complete my 3.1

SInce there is no Frys where I moved to, I could not get them last week (no shipping available). This week's ad brought them back higher but with shipping charges, so I had to debate until today when they dropped the shipping charge this evening, then the deal got better this week than last week for me.

So this went from a once in a lifetime deal, to just a killer deal for those with a Frys, to a good deal paying shipping, to a great deal with free shipping. Great is still great. Give these an audition and you will be happy as a clam paying this price for them.

Would you pay $117 each for Polk Monitor 60 Series II speakers today if you could get them? I sure as hell would. Just because they have sold for a little less at $100 doesn't mean they will always be available for that price. Recognize a slick deal in the present. If you need great deal for a pair of very good budget speakers, this is it. I bought them blind and was afraid to post it here, figuring all the audiophiles would be haters. Had no first hand experience then. Now I know I made out like a bandit-Both then and now.

Doesn't change my point about this being a great deal for today. I also showed that it is better for me than last week. Only would be worse if I lived near a B&M. So your first statement was not accurate in my case.
