Neither are authorized dealers according to the Pioneer website link listed above. No deal here as the rebate will not be fulfilled.

Read the form. The only thing "you pulled the trigger on" was paying full price.

Recently bought a pioneer radio from amazon. Some clarifying details. There is a specific list of online retailers, amazon is not one. In addition, even if the fulfilled by company is an authorized reseller it still won't work because the receipt is not from that company its from amazon.

E&B Electronics is not part of the authorized reseller list for pioneer. So again the rebate won't work.

Damn i just called Pioneer, they said Amazon was not on the list of Authorized Dealers. The list is here:

Don't waste your time , they are both horrible . Had the app radio 2 , horrible interface . Sold it as I couldn't stand it . Not even worth it at $140 , might work better with an Android phone , but the adapter to do that is over $100 . I had such high hopes for this unit , but it failed on every level .

I concur. No need to buy the $100 cable, I used a $6 one from Meritline. The ARLiberator app works great for a full Android experience.

Bad parts: No aux input, no satellite support.

Got the Appradio2 back in August for $220 from CowBoom (like new, but preowned). In hindsight, it's nice, but I wouldn't pay $200 for it again, especially now that smartphone screens are nearly as large as the AppRadio's. I'd rather have a nice holder for my phone and just use the aux input on the stock head unit.

One other thing that bothers me on the AppRadio is the resolution is not quite the same as the phone I'm using, so the screen is a little fuzzy, not bad, but not perfect either.
