This seems like a very good card for mid-200's, but I'm tempted to wait on a better deal for this card.

I've been looking at this particular card at Superbiiz for some time now. But I just can't seem to pull the trigger, shipping and tax brings this card to $250+. Which I believe is too close to the 7950 price point especially at sites that don't charge tax/shipping or both.
The gaming bundle is what is keeping these cards prices level at this point... so I think I'm going to to wait till all of the fervor has died down and pick up a full fledged 7950 when they drop a bit. OP you are right these gimped "7930" cards are going to get a lot cheaper as supply goes up. AMD is just offloading the silicon that likely failed 7970,7950 spec according to what I've read. |

these cards are called 7870 LE... LE is LIMITED EDITION
so it's quite possible there won't be very many of these cards... once they sell out they might not be so easy to find. basically only 2 companies sell them and there is no reference AMD card. |
