Performance wise, how does this laptop compare to Lenovo H430 Desktop: Core i5 3330 3GHz, 8GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, DVD Burner, Windows 8 $375? I'm just looking for something to handle Photoshop while working on 1gb files really well.

Got the Z590 for $350 at Lenovo. Everyone getting an average deal thinks it's FP these days.

Do you mean dual hdd's? Just purchase SSD and HDD cradle. Take out your CD drive put your 750 in the cradle and install your new SSD in the laptop. Problem solved. I bought this same laptop a while back for $400 + tax and couldn't be happier. Great laptop for the price.. |

otherwise i would get it, great for practical use but not for those who are big gamers.

My wife bought this back when they had the student special for $399. When she tried to load windows 8 on it it said there were driver problems. She called MS which said to call Lenovo who then had her uninstall windows 8 and put windows 7 back on
I bought the Toshiba deal that was on slickdeals for $375. U845W-S415 I love it and it was a steal at $375. I7 3rd generation 6mb ram and 250 SSD. |

This is a very thick laptop... not a slim one.. so if you care about how it looks you might want to consider other options..

check lenovo outlet...there are usually refurbished laptops equivalent to this at a much better price if you dont mind buying 'used'.

Would any of you guys have experience with Staples return policy? I see that it's 14 days but is there a restocking fee? Is it a full refund?
I want to get this for my dad but I'm pretty sure he will find something he won't like about it.. Thanks for your help |
