If you don't plan on notifying customers when their orders have completed processing, may I suggest that you state so. Something like, "Please check your order status on our website to pick up your eGift certificate in a few days. Orders are typically processed and ready to pick up in two to three business days."
Even if you intend on notifying customers after their orders have been processed, it might be prudent to add the above clause - just in case the follow-up communication goes awry. (You forget to send the message, the message is misdirected to junk mail, etc.)
