Stick with Ivy Bridge, even Sandy if you want to save a few bucks. The premium for Haswell isn't going to be worth it. |

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS BOARD IF YOU INTEND ON OVERCLOCKING!!!!! IT DOES NOT REPORT CPU VOLTAGE RIGHT.
This along with the Extreme4 have been noted as throwing higher voltage up to .10 difference than reported under load! If you don't plan on OC'ing, then have at it. |

That being said, if you live near a Microcenter, you will always be better off going there (assuming you need the cpu as well). The i5 3750k is always significantly cheaper than online and you get $50 off of any motherboard when purchased together. |

Loving my Extreme 6 I got from MC B&M deal. Make sure you install the SATA driver for the 3rd party SATA chipset. I forgot to install that and Windows was using the default standard drive. It was causing so much grief while trying to overclock.

I personally thought the board had a great layout and a nice amount of features. The overclocking options are pretty standard across all z77 boards. |

I have the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 with an Intel 3570 and couldn't be happier. The entire rig works like a charm. I have no complaints at all.
ASRock motherboards are super nice. I switched from going 5+ years nearly exclusively with Gigabyte MB's to now going nearly exclusively with ASRock, and I do not regret it at all. As a system builder, I have also used EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte, Biostar, ECS, etc., but the ASRock just seems to be a cut above all the others...stability, MB temps, layout, overclock-ability, etc. are all superior. Even the packaging of the hardware is incredible. ASRock is my newest favorite now. I am posting a couple of pics of my new rig with the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Soar
