I remember wearing and running in this mask back in Russia about 25 years ago. That was a lot of fun. BTW you can play game "Slonik" (only with mask that has a hose attached). Remove the filter from the end and close the hose hole with your palm and see how long the person wearing mask can survive Russian army trick!

Yup. 20 km marches in full chemical gear were a drag.

Will this protect against my wife's chili farts?

Need to add a poncho, wet weather pants and rubber boots. Will help with the fallout from the nutcase in NK.

edit- Seems like there is no way to drink while wearing the mask. I remember the good old army days in which we practiced wearing a NBC suit + mask and really funky lace up boots.
The mask did have a drinking tube which allowed the wearer to drink from a canteen.

I also remember what the NBC NCO told us what to do in the even we threw up in the mask......yuck
