Haha...understand your point tree_hugger. I was assuming people would buy more than just one or two to spread out the cost of the s/h, but I definitely understand your point if buying one or two! In my case, I am ordering some cables anyways, so this works out for me.

It's not as cheap as one expects when reading the title of the post, but it's still cheap. Also, shipping increases with each additional item (it's not a flat-rate ship).


For 40 Duracell AA batteries from Amazon, it's $21 free shipping. That's about $0.53 per battery.


For 8 packs of 8 AA Monoprice batteries (64), it's $9.12 + $9.60 shipping = $18.72. But that's about $0.29 per battery.

So he's correct - the more you buy, the cheaper the deal will be.
