Caesars/Harrah's properties in Las Vegas start charging resort fees!

I'd choose Paris. As mentioned above, the room is on par with TI and it has a much better location (Center Strip.) Not to mention they have a free shuttle to RIO if you were going over there.

A much better location? You can see one from the other. They're less than a mile apart and you can walk between them in fifteen minutes.

So basically all hotels charge these "resort fees" now? Any left that do not? (preferably somewhere near the strip)

This is kind of a slickdeal in reverse. Effective with bookings MADE March 1 or after, all of Caesar's Entertainment properties will commence the resort fee annoyance of the other Las Vegas hotels. Of course, they claim they are doing it for the customers benefit! So the slickdeal is if you were on the fence about booking something at one of their properties, BOOK BEFORE MAR 1 (travel date is apparently not relevant) to avoid the increased charges.

· PARIS LAS VEGAS: $20. Includes: Internet for one device, fitness center access for two people per day and all local calls.
· PLANET HOLLYWOOD: $20. Includes: Internet for one device, fitness center access for two people per day and all local calls.
· THE QUAD (PREVIOUSLY IMPERIAL PALACE): $10. Includes: Internet for one device, fitness center access for two people per day and all local calls.
· RIO LAS VEGAS: $18. Includes: Internet for one device, fitness center access for two people per day and all local calls.

Update:
While this wont likely effect too many people on this thread, Caesars is having some 'implementation' pains from this new policy, such as WIRED internet (included under the resort fee, not wireless) not being ready at all the properties in all rooms. In addition, Total Rewards players with Platinum, Diamond or Seven Stars status won't have to pay 'portions' of the resort fee.

We stayed at (Crappy) the Quad last Dec for $9 a night, now it's $30 with fee for the same crappy room!! It's very misleading because it was still Imperial Palace!!

Pretty much everything on the strip Is Caesars/Harrah's or MGM. I checked out Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock, Riveria, and Hooters... and they all have resort fees as well.
