I'd take the PB over the A100, I owned one of the A100s and many PBs, not the best imo.

i hear you. i used to have a playbook. the app store was so bare and chasing apps to sideload was a pain even though it was well built. truth be told im an apple guy. got a 4th gen ipad but wanted something small to carry here and there and like it or not android has alot more apps that i need on a daily basis. i wouldnt mind an ipad mini but the screen sucks for the price and this was under a hundred bucks. android seems to play better with my macbook also but i think build and screen wise i agree playbook is better

Damn they really really really want to sell the Rim BlackBerry because that keeps coming back up for long periods of time.

Call them or go on chat immediately at 7am (PST) and there shouldn't be an issue. They used to ship very quickly (within hours) but there's been more of a delay lately on orders, sometimes a day even.

Do not rely on email. The number is 888-602-6963 and you will get a real person quickly, or chat is also fast. I did it just the other day in your situation. Don't sweat it tonight though because there is nothing else you can do until they open for biz.

There is a Galaxy Tab left and I just bought an OEM ETA-P10JBEGSTA charger and cable (Samsung) that's needed for it on Amazon with Prime for under $11 from a seller http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...UTF8&psc=1. I grabbed a Galaxy Tab 2 for $89, sorry lol. But the Tab 1 is ok if you are looking for small, cheap and decent. I think the HTC Flyers are long gone, those were ok little Androids for the price too. There were also a couple Asus TF101-X1 16GB Transformers up for $119 which was a bargain.

Use http://urlhasbeenblocked/ and I also have the Chrome Cowboom Watcher extension which alerts me when they restock. There hasn't been much new in the past little while, you just gotta refresh http://urlhasbeenblocked/ to see if someone dropped something from a cart. There will be more restocking at points in the night and during the day, that's how it usually goes at least.

make sure, you order Acer A100 with adapter. The original adapter is expensive. The one you get from Ebay/Amazon doesn't fit well.

Flyers are pretty decent. I rooted one for my gf a few months back and it works great. Resolution isn't tip-top, but you can't beat it at that price. It's also heavy.

NM on the 3G Ipad...it said iPad 3G...but I Googled the item # and it's a 3G 1st Gen.
