I'm glad I was cancelled early & PM'ed with Dell. It will be here before the end of the week.

I just ordered a 3rd monitor from Dell and they gave me same price as before, $155+$7.75 tax = $162.75. This one is for my brother. You should call Dell and get them to do a price match.

So I've called Dell three times and chatted twice, all of them refuse to price match. Did you directly dial the guy from your earlier post when you called back a second time?

EDIT : Was able to get a price of 192.32 after joining 4 different chats haha.

I tried to call the same sales guy back, but the extension in the original email confirmation was missing some digits.

That Asus doesn't look bad, but I like Dell's 3yr advance exchange warranty. Got a single bright or dead pixel? Dell will replace it for free - they ship you the replacement monitor, you ship back your original one with the prepaid shipping label.

In case you guys need warranty service down the road, when you call Dell, they will mostly likely be scratching their heads because a) you don't have a "service tag" number (only applies to computers) and b) you don't have a Dell order #. This happens because you did not purchase the monitor with a computer from Dell, and in this case you bought only the monitor and not from Dell. This is what you gotta do to get a Dell order number so that you can get warranty support from Dell on your monitor: (yes I'm fully aware of Dell's maze of phone transfers which can be very frustrating, so do this while you're on a break at work )
