Microcenter's checkout has always given me a headache. It was giving me the unable to process and my cart has been cleared. I tried adding dashes "-" in my credit card number and now it give me "Unable to verify billing address"... -_-

For those who own this monitor, have you ever had issue with backlight bleed on the bottom right corner due to the power LED? I just got mine earlier tonight and set it up, but I'm having that same bleed issue...the same issue I had with the Asus 239H-P that I'm about to send back for the second time.

Just got done with a Dell Chat & call back.
They price matched(& $2. more) w/shipping.Dell $194.99 w/Free shipping. MC $197.10 w/shipping. (Both b/4 sales tax depending on what State you are in & you need it shipped) Plus Advantage 5% Promo Gift Card & 2 day ship. Micro Center might be a week to ship or it could get cancelled as this price smells "Price Mistake". There's No way they are going to be able to supply all the 100's of orders I'm sure they are receiving & it still shows available @$179.99, still in stock? I didn't buy the monitor in this thread (which was $206 after including the shipping & $9 in taxes).
Instead I spent $208 (after an impending $20 rebate, that is) for a slightly better 23" ASUS that also has an HDMI port & some built-in speakers. How to obtain Dell warranty on monitors not purchased directly from Dell
In case you guys need warranty service down the road, when you call Dell, they will mostly likely be scratching their heads because a) you don't have a "service tag" number (only applies to computers) and b) you don't have a Dell order #. This happens because you did not purchase the monitor with a computer from Dell, and in this case you bought only the monitor and not from Dell. This is what you gotta do to get a Dell order number so that you can get warranty support from Dell on your monitor: (yes I'm fully aware of Dell's maze of phone transfers which can be very frustrating, so do this while you're on a break at work )Retail Brick/Online Store Dell Monitor Purchase Sams Club According to the Sams Club website, all of the monitors they sell have this notation, "This product is covered by the Sam's Club Member Satisfaction Guarantee.". Dell does not provide warranty coverage for these. CostCo, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. * All other customers should follow these instructions - Contact Dell Order Support for your country. They will need to contact the "Tag Team" through internal Chat. Provide the following information - Brick or Online Store = Purchase date = Email = Name = Shipping Address = Phone = Monitor Model = Monitor Part number = Monitor 20 digit PPID number = * The Tag Team will then provide to the Order Support representative your unique Dell Order number |
