Got one. Does this come with software for Bluray?

Got one for $40AR 3 months ago. I am still waiting for the $35 rebate.

I bought this one from amazon last night for $59.99 with no rebates to worry about. I did not shop around for any better prices like I normally do.

I have purchased a number of these Asus Burners with the Rebate and had absolutly no problem getting the rebate. If you did not get your rebate you should check you paperwork & tracking # and make sure you did everthing correctly.
It is an online registration so it is a no brainer!

My rebate has been validated and approved on 1/11. ASUS rebate is processed by 4myrebate which usually takes around 8-12 weeks of processing time. I never have problem with this rebate processor (including Asus, Patriot and Gigabyte rebates) although sometimes it takes a but longer than usual. As long as my rebate status is good, I don't worry about it. I have been doing rebate for over 15 years and I never have a unresolvable problem. After all, this $35 rebate is just 5% of the total rebate I submitted within last 3 months. Those who whined in the reviews are just impatient and new to the rebate game.

Keep in mind this is only a 4X DL reader. If you're ripping Blu Rays, its well worth the investment into a 8X reader.

It takes almost 3 months to get the rebate card the regular route. But if you chose the express rebate option (3$ extra) they process your rebate with high priority. I bought this same unit when they had the deal back in Nov/Dec and I got the rebate in second week of Jan.

Yeah, no rebates and no software from LG; but this one comes with software!
