This is free every couple months in the magazines portion of the freebie forum.

I don't think so. I did a search and all I found was a rewards gold deal which is quite a hassle and not free at all if your time is worth anything. Could you please point me to where it is offered as a free subscription for a year or more?

It's only been free one time (this past September through RewardsGold, and SD fortunate enough to take advantage of the deal were rewarded with subscriptions as long as ten years). All other "free" subscription offers were for a handful of free issues -- completely indifferent from the trail subscriptions US Weekly offers direct.

The $30 for 2 years deal was last offered in 2010; this current offer ($20/year) has since replaced it, typically offered two to three times per year - although sometimes it requires a two-year minimum.

No, it isn't...

It was offered back in September 2012 thru RewardsGold, but hasn't been a freebie for awhile before that. I personally don't find RewardsGold a hassle, I used the direct link and it took exactly 30 seconds of my time to get the freebie.

Otherwise I was getting it via other methods for free...but $20 for one year is pretty good for this magazine.

I'm not sure if it was rewards gold or not but I clicked a link filled out a form and started receiving the magazine a few weeks later. You can pay for it and ill continue to recieve it for free.

We have not had deals for just one year in the past, usually just 2-yrs or 3-yrs.
So this might be a good way to try the Mag out to see if you like it.
