Two Worlds: Epic Edition - PC Amazon Download $1.24 (or $0.93 with coupon)

What a terrible game its not even worth the 1.50$ I bought this game pre ordered thought it would be awesome with online pay and it was complete shit, I felt I got robbed, please do not give this developer ANY money for this POS game they should pay you to download it.

I would say it is a decent game and worth the price. Just don't be expecting Skyrim.

I'm not completely sure, but I think it works for any Digital Download available on Amazon. However, it may only be on games that are already on sale, I don't know. I already used mine so I can't test it.

Anyway, supposedly the code is active from 2/21-2/28, 1 use per Amazon account. You can find a little more info on this thread about the February Digital Download sale. Hope that helped!

I felt the game had a certain charm to it despite the many flaws even after the necessary patches. I can't say I recommend it nowadays though even for a dollar unless you've exhausted your backlog and are really really curious.

The trailer looks absolutely horrible. Apparently the only sword attack is a boring spinning blade maneuver. Horse movements are laughable.

I remember this game had really, really bad reviews when it first came out. Good to hear the updates at least make the game playable. Not wasting my time/money on this garbage though.

I spent probably 35-40 hours playing and beating Two Worlds. In my opinion the second one was worse. Two Worlds was really enjoyable for me, no its not as polished as Kingdoms of Amalur or Skyrim but it is a well done game with a decent number of different monsters to fight. There are plenty of sidequests to build your character and the main storyline is actually quite good though the voice acting is bad all around. The horse controls are laughable at best, i found myself stuck in a corner spinning circles far too often. Overall it's a good, fun, game and when I bought a year or so ago for $20 it was still worth every penny. That being said at $1.24 it's a steal.

Buy it and try it after all you're only losing a dollar and change.

And time. There's never enough of that to go around. Even for free, I won't bother wasting any effort on something I know to be poorly reviewed. The trailer I watched only reinforced the scathing review I read several years ago.

The "a certain charm despite its many flaws" remark is pretty accurate. I played the Xbox version and was initially appalled, but was too stubborn to quit. Which is fortunate, because I did end up enjoying the game overall. The voice acting is truly grating (except for the hero) and the horses are indeed aggravating at times. But all in all I enjoyed the quests and environments and in particular the crafting system. If you don't mind spending a dollar and have a few hours to get into the rhythm of the game, then I think it's worth a try.
