Funny guy.....I ordered 3....1 for each kid and 1 for a nephew.

Apparently the site is limiting to 2 per order.

Perhaps I'm expecting too much for them to specify a quantity limit if one does exist. Wasn't too difficult for Amazon to limit their Golden Flameslinger to 1 per purchase.

Never had an issue with finding the figures, but ordering online will save me from making daily trips to 3 different Walmarts trying to catch them in stock.

I called and was told the limit is 2 per order. Anything over that will get flagged as a "bulk order." Rep sounded like she would be able to place a bulk order for me over the phone if I was using a credit card, but I paid via PayPal.

Yeah, I just got a cancelled email too. I ordered 2, one for my son and one for family. I guess they don't want you ordering more than 1. So I re-ordered. I hope this one sticks. My son has been talking about Molten Hot Dog for the last 3 weeks, ever since he saw the ad in the store. Hence the reason I was stalking the Walmart page. And since I am in the middle of Round 2 of Snowmageddon 2013 right now, I won't be able to get to the store tomorrow to check the shelves.

That's a better answer than I got when calling them. But hopefully the new order goes through. The stupid thing is the site limits the qty to add to the cart on the product page to 5 so one would assume that was the qty limit.

So would I be able to get a second one with a different credit card? only 1 per person?

I ordered 2 but I did them in separate transactions. Found out my nephew didn't have hot dog yet. I'm going broke on these damn things. WTH is gonna happen when they come out with the 25 or 32 new ones in the fall? I told my daughter to start asking for gift cards. Between Disney infinity and swap force I see one broke Santa.

Same here! Not only is our 5 year old son in love with Skylanders, our 20 month old daughter is too. I will have to get a job just to feed this Skylanders habit! But I will say, they did a REALLY good job of marketing these things to kids. They have in-game commercials for the characters! So every time they play the game, they ask for a new character.
