That would be your best bet. Please be aware that the chances of that working are very low. Not saying it's impossible just not very likely. Your other option would be to wait until your region gets marked down and hope that there are still some left. It's really hit or miss on these kinds of deals which are crazy good. Last year I got the 18v XPR and Lithum Ion's for $30 a piece at Lowes so it does happen just is a hunt

Greetings all on this wonderful morning. If you thought this deal was dead, you're sadly mistaken, after some creativity i was able to get on this wonderful deal .

Below is what you need to do inorder to get it, all i ask is you be a GOOD person and get it for yourself and not bulk order for Ebay\Craigslist.

1) Go to a store near you that has it for full price and buy it(i went to brooklyn, ny), total was around 540$ with taxes. DO NOT OPEN OR USE ANY OF THE TOOLS
2) Call stores in your area to see how much they sell this item for(doesnt matter if its in stock or not)
3) go to the store that has it for 124$ and return your tools with receipt and you'll get whatever you paid for and rebuy it, you price will be 124$

This is a YMMV, but im the 3rd or 4th person on this thread that was able to get it

2 NYC Stores have them in stock, and Brooklyn has them as well, ALL stores in NJ are sold out, but the price in computer will show 124

Big respect to the guy from previous page that game me a hint that it took 2 days for giving me an idea and HUGE thanks to OP for making today a wonderful day for me

Congrats!! This is EXACTLY how I was able to accomplish getting this great deal. Just because you don't GET a deal doesn't mean you cant MAKE a deal... Sometimes we need to brainstorm and use some creative purchasing techniques to get a DEAL!... Enjoy your YMMV SLICK DEAL...

FYI: was told by a HD General Manager that clearance priced items ending in $XXX.03 will eventually be make their way down to the clearance price of $.01(a penny)...

Thanks to this guy for pointing it out the how-to for someone who didn't think of this. I just duplicated this buying from the manhattan home depot (GO BLOW! ripoff artists selling clearance at marquee prices) while the rest of the country is selling them what they should be.

so the key is to find out the store that labels this at 124.03? I called at least 10 stores and none of them discount it.

This is most likely in a few regions. Not all will have the $124 clearance price, at least not yet....

The key is to first contact the stores in your area and ask them to check the stock on the SKU: 311511. Once they confirm whether or not they have the item in stock, ask them to confirm the price, to make sure that its on clearance at that location, this is very important. Once you have this information, now you can locate a store that has stock of this item, which will more than likely be at full price.

Now that you have found the item and purchased it at full price, take the item to the store that you confirmed the clearance price at and return the set. This will now place the item into that store's inventory and since the SKU is under clearance, it will now ring up at the clearance price. Repurchase the set @ $124.03! Good luck hunting!!

I'm trying to figure out how you're returning it and then rebuying it immediately. Usually they take the item and put it in the restocking cart.

I really don't understand why you quoted me in your post. I never said the deal was dead. Further, you made your purchase in NJ, not VA. If you had purchased in Va, then it would make sense.
