I was able to score a set full price from the Home Depot in Garwood, NJ this morning. But I have not been able to find a store that is selling them at $124. Every store I have called in Union County and Manhattan has the set (store sku #311511) listed at $499.
From reading the thread, I see that some of you have been able to replicate the deal in the NYC area, any help you can provide would be most appreciated. Thanks!! |

no luck in Louisiana, locations still have price at $499. I've tried scanning myself, gotten the mgr to scan. price still at $499. I've showed the mgrs the previously posted pics of the receipts and the pics of the item sku cards etc.. nothing. The mgrs just laugh. Anybody having better luck in Louisiana?

still no luck in Louisiana. Price at $499. So, home depot pricing plans are not nationwide in their system? Anybody know how HD's pricing system/structure operates? is it regional, is it up to local district managers as to what pricing plan to run? Southern region vs. northern region pricing plans? Just wondering how they operate.

I tried to get this for the $0.01 clearance price but was unable. It was explained that items that have been reduced to a penny cannot be sold for a penny. My argument was then why price the item for a penny if it cannot be sold... I will continue to try a few other HDs in my area and see if I have any success.

Good Luck guapo104. I can't even find this deal for $124 much less $0.01. All the HD's in Louisiana and Mississippi are still at $499. I sure wish i knew how the national pricing plan works for HD. I was under the impression that pricing was handled on a national level where the local HD's receive the weekly pricing markdown reports that are computer generated into their pricing systems. I guess that is totally wrong. I'd love to hear from someone who has much greater knowledge than me on how Home Depot's national pricing system works for the local stores. tks.

http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT.../202922456 The difference is, the new set has an impact driver instead of the circular saw. The rest is the same. |
