I went to my local store in Oklahoma. Talked to customer service and she said probably NO. She had the Tools manager come to the front and he said probably NO. He had the store manager come to the front and she said Sorry, but NO. I said thanks anyway and left. They at least tried by getting three people involved.

Reps to the OP for posting this. I hope someone else gets this deal.

Congrats to you for finding it, as I did as well. This is indeed one of those rare finds, and they ARE out there, but not many. You would usually ONLY find these hiding in the overheads (if yours is a clearance area), on the shelf units usually would have been bought at the last clearance price of $299.06. When I posted I did not know it was a regional clearance until others as well said it was regular price in their area. I can't believe people are being rude when you are only trying to be helpful. I always post these type of finds in the Finds at Home Depot forum since the people in there are game for a HUNT and dont expect deals handed to them on a platter.


IF ANYONE thinks this deal was in ANY way FAKE or PHOTOSHOPPED, *CALL* The home depot RamblinMan listed, and ask them for the current price they have this item at, SKU 311-511, or my areas in Long beach, Cerritos, Lakewood. It wont be in stock probably, but that is the price, at least for another week, next week it will be $.01

I can confirm this price for Southern California. They had 1 in stock in Canoga Hills, CA. I sent my sister over and she tried looking for them but couldn't find them. When she finished her initial search, she asked for help and they confirmed the price (to their shock) was $124.03. They helped her look but it was a no go. Thanks for the heads up and I'll give you rep. I just wish I could have found it.

Sounds a little paranoid to me!

If they "drive me" to go to HD and check out this deal, what will that do? I can easily walk out without buying anything. OK it cost me some gas and time, but we are on SlickDeals, where we will drive around to who knows how many store locations looking to save a few bux. This is no different.

And the whole penny thing is very very real. Some stores are good at keeping the stuff off the shelves, some stores will occasionally make the mistake but charge you the last "real" price, and some stores are so behind/lazy that the penny stuff just sits on the shelves until people like you or I buy it through self checkout. Ive gotten 3 penny deals from HD, ranging from single cordless tools all the way up to a 5 cordless tool kit.

someone sounds crazy. I'll print you out a price tag next week when it drops to a penny. all homedepot items clearanced do.

So after some running around and inventory checking I was finally able to get this deal just as the OP did. It took me a few days to accomplish this goal. We need to remember that when someone posts YMMV, it means that the deal might not be available in your area. Those who are not able to get the deal should come on here and bash or question the validity of a deal. Especially when the OP shows proof of purchase. So now two people have been able to get this deal, not just the OP... Receipt is attached for your viewing pleasure.

Congrats on the deal of the year, but nobody's even going to come close. 18v drill/driver combos hit FP at ~$150 if they're LiOn. Less than that for 20v with circ saw and the kitchen sink? No f'in way.

There are a number of these in stock in my area for $499. If it is clearanced, does the price show up online, or do you have to check in-store?

Next question - is it worth keeping an eye on these for markdowns? IOW, if they're being clearanced in other regions, is it inevitable that they will go on clearance everywhere eventually?

23rd does have it on clearance but at 419$, Brooklyn's store has at for 499, so ny\nj area is a no go, i doubt some one will return them at that price.

btw, tried calling home depot 800 number, and while they did confirm the price, they said they can not match HD B&M clearance prices
