Crutoi where in Ny did you return it and buy it again for $124. I have never seen any tool deals on here for HD or lowes that are in NY.

How are you guys returning and buying immediately? I was able to find one for499, but the service desk at the other store told me they won't be able to sell it to me since it was clearance item, not stocked anymore and she has to send it back to manufacturer once returned?
Also, how do you ask for the item back for purchase right after returning? |

According to a store employee here in the Boston area, this item has been clearances to $0.01. Not surprisingly, they didn't have any in stock & neither did any stores within 50 miles. Oh well, congrats to those who got it!

That should only have been said if you made the purchase ONLINE. Online purchases must always be returned to a distribution warehouse and not stocked back on the shelf at the store. When they go to return the item the computer immediately make a RTV sticker for that item and makes the clerk put it in the RTV bin and not the department return bin. IF you bought it in store, they just duped you bigtime/probably bought it themselves. Only when it hits a Penny will they say that legally. Whenever I go in for a transaction like that, I just bring in the receipt only and ask for a price adjustment since the price has dropped. |

Return re-buy is nothing new. Its been done for years. Mostly at Target.
BMR != BMW. Post that I drive one and you show that you're a fool.

Finally I was able to get this deal!
Thank you so much! Took some effort, called a whole bunch of stores, went to 3 different stores, was shot down at 2 stores, 3rd one was a charm, spent $20 in gas and a couple of hours, but it was worth it in the end because it came at a time when I was going to buy two of the tools in the kit anyway. The cashier was puzzled and when she saw the price drop, she had that look of disbelief on her face and started verifying everything again! I just wanted to swipe my credit card and get the heck out of there. LOL. Already started using them, awesome tools. Also, got the extended warranty since I saw it on one of the receipts posted here, then read horrible reviews of their EPP. Oh well! It was a hard deal to get. OP was really lucky to be able to just walk-in and buy. Thanks to OP and others as well!
