They could say that 8 Giant rolls of paper towels won't reasonably fit in that bag and deny the discount. Though that probably won't be a problem for you unless the workers at your store hate you.

In reality, not going to matter. if you have other small items on your purchase that do fit in the bag, all that fall under the coupon terms are going to get the 20% off when the coupon is scanned. Breakroom/cleaning items are not excluded under the coupon T&C, so the paper towels will get the discount as well. |

FWIW,
They must hate me as they claimed that since the towels were already discounted, the 20% would not work. I told them that this has not been the case in the past but they couldn't/wouldn't get it to work. I also bought some coffee and one other thing, which worked. Usual mgr I deal with was not there so I left the towels for another day. What a pain. |

The $1 coupon says "AVAILABLE AT WALMART". I think we are at the mercy of cashier/manager to accept the $1 coupon and 20% coupon. I would say that this deal is YMMV.

FWIW, the 20% isn't working for this item. I don't think it's because it's already on sale, rather it's because whoever coded items for the coupon probably excluded it because it is obviously too big to fit in the bag. That, or maybe it was just an oversite.
