Yeah, you should mention the $50 rebate is only for new users, or $25 for repeat orders.

Also, most people may not know this, but if you buy a 1yr supply and your prescription changes, you can return any unopened, unused and undamaged boxes to Vision Direct. I did that and returned 4 boxes and got my money back (this was not counting the money I got from the rebate). Great deal, if you ask me.

Not to rain on this deal, but isn't this an everyday price for Vision Direct? They've always had the 25% off, and the Oasys price has been the same. Just wondering if I'm missing something.

I ordered these hoping to get the $50 rebate, then realized my eye exam was just over 90 days ago. Anyone think I might still get it if I fill out the form and send it in? (Literally over by just about 7 days...).

Thanks!

Why would anyone get 1 year supply online when you have to go see your optometrist anyway? I get a 1 year supply from my doc.

Half of what you pay.

Some people's insurance doesn't cover a year so some is out of pocket.

Found the T&C but it does not state what you need to qualify as a "new wearer". Also note that you need to have had an eye exam within the last 90 days to qualify.

I believe you can qualify if you've never had the rebate sent to your address before.

Because some people don't want to pay the price the optomitrist charges. I Know for the night and day lenses I will be getting price is half on vision direct.

Then you say, we'll I don't pay anything, my insurance does. Not everyone has vision insurance ( I didn't until recently) or insurance will cover either glasses or contacts. My glasses are 5 years out of date since I didn't have vision insurance and recently hard to wear them because of a bad eye infection. So I will be using my insurance to pay for glasses and pay for contacts out of pocket. At that point, you find the best deal possible. Do I want to pay double, no...

How would you be able to buy for the contacts online when you state you need to get a Rx for glasses? You can't get both!

Thanks for your interest in this special offer.

Unfortunately, this special offer is only available to selected customers of the Vision Direct store.

I tried both codes listed in Post 2. I wasn't logged in either.

Cool deal, my order promo New25Vision went through initially but after something strange with the cart it didn't accept it, sent an email got a reply. Said

In regards to your email, the reason your coupon code is not working is because our systems are showing that you have ordered fromldrugstore.comlin the past. Vision Direct andldrugstore.comlshare a customer database, so our systems are unable to recognize that you are a new lens customer placing your first lens order. To get your new customer discount for your first lens order, please continue placing your order online and contact us again once you get confirmation that it has completed and shipped. We will then refund the new customer discount to the payment method associated with your order. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, and appreciate your patience in this .

I don't see where you are having trouble with this ... why can't you get both? Of course you can.

Some people's insurance will pay for both, some for one or the other, some people don't have insurance.

Example. I went in for an eye exam last week, At the end, i asked for my prescription. They handed me 2 cards, one for glasses, and one for contacts. If i want to buy them there, they will fill them for me. At their prices. If i want to buy elsewhere, i can. Since I will be updating my glasses, i will have my insurance cover them and then i will be buying the contacts out of pocket. So obviously i want the best price if i am paying for them myself.

Last time I got contacts it was a place that would price match usually. i brought a print out in for vision direct and they said no, can't match it, lower then their cost.

Is there a workaround if you don't have a valid prescription? My prescription expired a year ago and I don't have eye care insurance anymore.
