STAPLES Canon® PIXMA® MX892 Wireless All-in-One Printer $50 + tax AC YMMV B&M

At $50 this is a great deal.
Just a caution, these Canon bubble jet printers have a frequent problem "Error Code B200" with the printer heads.
I just had a similar year old Canon printer die because of the B200 Error Code.
Now I'm trying all type of tricks to fix this printer.
If anyone knows how to fix this, I would appreciate any tips.

So, what is the best way to buy?
kiosk buy and pay with coupon? or just ask for a price match?

You can try what this guy, mrFixxitnow, [youtube.com] did.

In all seriousness now, a quick google search led me to this thread [google.com] which has links, etc. The solution is to unclog/clean your printhead. Best solution to use, IMO, is denatured alcohol. However, there are vendors on eBay, etc. that sell their own brew (not sure of what).

Did any one purchase a protection plan on this? I know if anything goes bad, Staples will just issue a gift card of the product price and NOT make you return the product. (For products under $299 with a protection plan)

I just ordered this via phone and used coupon code 79876 for phone orders and got this printer for $54.12, including tax. The operator/customer service agent was very helpful and friendly. Heck, the price I paid covers the price of the genuine Canon Ink alone. LOL .

I just bought one of these printers from OfficeMax (online order 4 in-store pick-up) about a month ago, after coupon for like $132 including all tax. Just getting this printer to give as a gift to someone locally. This is a good printer; upgraded from my MX860. Print quality looks the same as the MX860.

Thanks, OP - got one. I had manager PM and apply coupon. He gave me a hard time about it but it worked. YMMV for sure.

I did phone order too, came to 54.35 w tax. They do check inventory though

On my second try today I found a store with one MX892 left on the shelf which rang up $149. Asked them to price match the online price. The price was verified by another employee so it was adjusted to $99. Then I presented the $50 coupon.

This came just in time because the rollers on my HP 7960 refused to pick up paper.

Phone order from yesterday got canceled...

Got it PM'ed by manager, cashier scanned the $50 coupon with no questions. I had an extra $10 coupon that stacked also. $43.59 out the door!

Tried in Staples in NJ, they would only accept only the coupon or PM, not both, so pretty much got shotdown.
